This Face of Africa classic Safari package will allow you to have more days in the land of endless plains, The Serengeti, it will give you enough time to view the amazing ecosystem of the park, the relationship between the prey and predators, and if you are luck you my spot the hunting lions or Leopard. Depending on the time of the year you may witness the world show of wildebeest in their calving season or in millions of migratory herds in search of the green pasture. Arrival Day

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport met by our representative then drive to Lake Duluti in Arusha where our safari expert will meet you and give you safari briefing before going to bed for an overnight (BB)

Day 1 Arusha To Tarangire National Park

Depart from Arusha town at 0830 with picnic lunches for Tarangire National Park tour. The park is located 120km from Arusha. It is famed for its congregation of big herds of Elephants and a buffaloes, this landscape of open plains is dotted with thousands of baobabs trees. During game drive you may see zebras, wildebeest, elephant, Maasai giraffe, Baboons, Fringe-eared Oryx and other predators such as Lions, cheetah, leopard even tree climbing python if you are lucky, alongside variety of birds such as the endemic ashy starling, Rufus-tailed weaver and black-collared lovebird. Picnic lunch will be provided by your driver Guide at the designed picnic area inside the park. Then late evening drive to Maramboi Tented Camp for dinner and overnight

Day 2 Arusha Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart with your picnic lunches and drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. This beautiful park with its lush vegetation and tropical forests of giant fig and mahogany trees, takes its name from the Maasai word for “euphorbia tirucalli”, a bush which is used to make a thorny hedge to protect their cattle. Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Zebras and a variety of Antelopes inhabit the park as well as a variety of monkeys and a large population of hippos. If you are lucky you may see the Manyara lions, well known for their tree climbing habits, lazily resting on the branches of an “Acacia tortilis” tree. The birdlife is also abundant, with flamingoes, pelicans, hornbills and plenty of forest species. Lunch boxes will be provided to you at the picnic point. Day 3 Lake Manyara To Serengeti

After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority a designated the UNESCO World Heritage. On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge (optional) where anthropologists Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey made significant discoveries contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park game drive en route arriving in time for dinner and overnight at Kubu Kubu Tented Camp

Day 4 Serengeti Full Day

Early morning game drive to see also nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning sunrise followed by full day Serengeti National Park tour putting you in a position to see lots of the animals. Serengeti in Maasai meaning the endless plain; 14763sq km in size is the home to many animals including Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Wildebeests, Zebras, Leopards, Cheetahs, Warthogs, Hyenas plus a lots of bird life. The great migration is taking place around Serengeti and during that particular time millions of Wildebeests, Zebras, Thompson’s Gazelles, Grants Gazelle, Elands and Impalas are mingling together followed by predators. Dinner and overnight Kubu Kubu Tented Camp

Day 5 Serengeti To Northern

Get breakfast at the lodge followed by game drive to different areas within the park, lunchboxes will be provided to you at the picnic point. Continue with game drives further to northern. Dinner and overnight at Kirawira Luxury Tented Camp

Day 6 Northern Serengeti

After early breakfast set off for another full day of game drive in northern Serengeti with picnic lunch, late afternoon return to the Kirawira Luxury Tented Camp for dinner and overnight

Day 7 Northen Serengeti To Ngorongoro

After breakfast at the lodgeset off for a morning game drive. After lunch proceed to Ngorongoro game drive en route arriving in time for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 8 Ngorongoro Crater To Arusha

After breakfast you will descend into the crater for a wonderful crater tour with a picnic lunch inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world a designated UNESCO World Heritage; It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Then late afternoon drive back to Arusha for overnight at Lake Duluti Lodge (BB)

Departure Day

After breakfast at leisure; afterwards transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for outbound flight
